Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Novell ZENworks Desktop Management. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to the ZenRem32.exe service on TCP or UDP port 1761 and trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with SYSTEM privileges.
A remote user can send a specially crafted filename in a TFTP Read Request (0x01) packet type to trigger a stack overflow. The code will run with the privileges of the tftpd service.
Francis Provencher from Protek Researchh Lab's and sb reported these vulnerabilities via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

The vendor has issued a fix (7 Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4 Hot Patch 5).
