Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Windows Media Player. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) data to trigger a memory use-after-free error in 'wmpnetwk.exe' and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Oleksandr Mirosh reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued the following fixes:
