Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Reader. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted PDF file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
The getAnnots() function is affected [CVE-2009-1492].
The spell.customDictionaryOpen() is affected on UNIX-based systems [CVE-2009-1493].
All versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat are affected.
