Description:   A vulnerability was reported in OpenSSL. A remote or local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote or local user can supply a specially crafted ASN1 structure to an OpenSSL-based application to trigger a memory access flaw and cause the target application to crash.

Paolo Ganci reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (0.9.8k).
