Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Lotus Sametime. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send a specially crafted URL to the target Community Services multiplexer on TCP port 1533 to trigger a stack overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
IBM has assigned SPR# RDES7CALDL to this vulnerability.
The vendor was notified on December 11, 2007.

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (8.0.1, and hotfix ICAE-7DPP83 for Sametime 7.5.1 Cumulative Fix 1).
