Description:
A vulnerability was reported in the ToolTalk Database Server. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system in certain cases.
A user with the ability to create a specially crafted '.rec' database file on the target system can then connect to the rpc.ttdbserverd service to trigger a heap overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Rodrigo Rubira Branco of the Check Point Vulnerability Discovery Team (VDT) reported this vulnerability.
