Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in Xpdf. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted PDF file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
The SplashBitmap() function in 'SplashBitmap.c' is affected [CVE-2009-3603].
The drawImage() function in 'splash.c' is affected [CVE-2009-3604].
The doImageL1Sep() function in 'PSOutputDev.c' is affected [CVE-2009-3606].
The ObjectStream() function in 'ObjectStream.c' is affected [CVE-2009-3608].
The ImageStream() function in 'ImageStream.c' is affected [CVE-2009-3609].
