Description: A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Mail Security. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow in the 3rd party Autonomy KeyView module and execute arbitrary
code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
On the Symantec Mail Security (SMS)
for SMTP and SMS Appliance, the overflow will result in a child process crash.
