Description: A vulnerability was reported in EMC RepliStor. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a heap overflow in 'ctrlservice.exe' or 'rep_srv.exe' and execute arbitrary
code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
Zhenhua Liu of Fortinet's FortiGuard
Global Security Research Team reported this vulnerability.

A remote, unauthenticated user may connect over TCP to the "ctrlservice.exe" or "r ep_srv.exe" process and send a specially-crafted
message to cause a heap based buffer overflow, which can result in arbitrary code execution.
Solutions:
===========
The FortiGuard Global Security Research Team released the signature "EMC.RepliStor.Integer.O verflow"
Users should use EMC's Powerlink solution to upgrade to the following EMC RepliStor products:
