Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Clam AntiVirus. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted CHM file that, when processed by ClamAV, will trigger an invalid memory access error and cause the target service to crash.

Hanno Bock reported this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote user can cause the ClamAV service to crash.
Solution:  The vendor has issued a fixed version (0.94).
