Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Bugzilla. A remote authenticated user can create confirmed bug reports.

A remote authenticated user can create bugs in the NEW or ASSIGNED states via the XML-RPC interface even if the user does not have 'canconfirm' privileges.

Frederic Buclin reported this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote authenticated user without 'canconfirm' privileges can create confirmed bug entries.
Solution:  The vendor has issued a fixed version (3.1.4), available at:
