Description: A vulnerability was reported in Solaris in the event port implementation. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.
A local user can invoke an application program that submits and retrieves user-defined events from a port to trigger null pointer dereference, causing a system panic.

Solution: Sun has issued the following fix.
