Description: A vulnerability was reported in Cisco PIX Firewall. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send specially crafted Instant Messenger (IM) packets through the device to trigger a flaw in the IM inspection
engine and to cause the target device to become unavailable.
Systems with the IM inspection engine enabled are affected.
Cisco
has assigned Cisco Bug ID CSCso22981 to this vulnerability.
