Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Cisco PIX Firewall. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted TCP ACK packet to the device to cause unspecified denial of service conditions.

Packets traversing the device cannot trigger this vulnerability.

Versions 7.1.x and 7.2.x with WebVPN, SSL VPN, or ASDM enabled are affected. Version 8.0 with Telnet, Secure Shell (SSH), WebVPN, SSL VPN, or ASDM enabled is affected.

Cisco has assigned Cisco Bug ID CSCsm84110 to this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:  The vendor has issued a fix (7.1(2)70, 7.2(4), 8.0(3)10).
