Version(s): 2003 SP2, XP SP2, Vista; and prior service packs
Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Windows WebDAV Mini-Redirector. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted WebDAV responses to trigger an error and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Windows 2000 SP4 and Vista SP1 are not affected.

Steven of COSEINC Vulnerability Research Lab reported this vulnerability.

Impact:  A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
