Description: Several vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Office. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted file that, when loaded by the target user with Microsoft Office, will execute arbitrary
code on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
The vulnerabilities reside in various
Microsoft Office filters.
A specially crafted PICT image file can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-3018]. Shaun Colley of NGS
Software reported this vulnerability.
A specially crafted Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-3019].
A
specially crafted BMP image file can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-3020]. An anonymous researcher reported this vulnerability
via iDefense.
A specially crafted PICT image file can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-3021]. Damian Put reported this vulnerability
via TippingPoint.
A specially crafted WPG image file can trigger code execution [CVE-2008-3460]. Damian Put reported this vulnerability
via iDefense.
Microsoft Office Project 2002 SP1, Microsoft Office Converter Pack, and Microsoft Works 8 are also affected by
these vulnerabilities.

Impact: A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
