Description: A vulnerability was reported in IBM Lotus Domino in the IMAP service. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote authenticated user can connect to the IMAP service and send specially crafted data trigger a buffer overflow and execute
arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
IBM has assigned SPR# PRAD74LKW5
to this vulnerability.
The vendor was notified on June 27, 2007.

Impact: A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Solution: The vendor has issued a fix (Domino releases 6.5.6 Fix Pack 2 (FP2), 7.0.3 and 8.0).
