Description: A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Enterprise Security Manager. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target manager and agent to hang and consume excessive CPU resources.
A
network scan against one of the ESM network ports can trigger this flaw.
A restart is required to restore the application to
normal operation.
Only Windows-based systems are affected.
