Description: A vulnerability was reported in Safari and MobileSafari. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. The iPhone is affected.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow and execute
arbitrary code on the target system.
The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
On the iPhone, the code will
run with administrative privileges.
Charlie Miller, Jake Honoroff, and Joshua Mason of Independent Security Evaluators discovered
this vulnerability.
