Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Sun Solaris in the telnet daemon. A remote user can bypass authentication and gain access to the target system.

A remote user can invoke telnet and set their username to '-f<username>' to gain remote access to the specified username account on the target system.

On February 28, 2007, Sun reported that at least one worm is known to be actively exploiting this vulnerability.

Kingcope discovered this vulnerability.
