Description: A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Blocked popups that are opened by the target user via the status bar "blocked popups" icon are opened in the context of the site
listed in the Location (address) bar, even if the blocked popup was originally opened by a subframe loaded from another site. As
a result, the popup can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will run in the security
context of the site listed in the Location bar. The code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication
cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take
actions on the site acting as the target user.
The vendor notes that the threat of a site framing a malicious page that is subsequently
opened manually by the target user may be limited.
