Description: A vulnerability was reported in Novell eDirectory. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP Host header value to trigger a buffer overflow in the BuildRedirectURL() function
and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
The vendor was
notified on September 11, 2006.
Michael Ligh and Ryan Smith discovered this vulnerability.
