Description: A vulnerability was reported in Avahi. A remote user can spoof netlink messages.
The software does not verify the origin of netlink messages. A remote user can cause the Avahi service to conclude that some network configuration changes have occured when they have not.

Avahi does not currently verify the originating process of netlink
messages.
This could potentially be used to trick Avahi into thinking some network
changes occured that did not.
