Description: A vulnerability was reported in Rising Antivirus. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a specially crafted ACE archive that, when scanned by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow in
UNACEV2.DLL and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
An ACE
archive containing a file with a specially crafted filename can trigger the overflow.
The vendor was notified on May 8, 2006.
