Description: A vulnerability was reported in Abakt. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create a Zip file containing a file with specially crafted filename. When the Zip file is opened by the target
user via the "Restore Zip Archive" window, a buffer overflow will occur and arbitrary code will be executed on the target user's
system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
The vendor was notified on May 12, 2006.
Tan Chew Keong
of Secunia Research discovered this vulnerability.

3) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in Abakt, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when listing the
contents of a ZIP archive. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow when a malicious ZIP archive containing
a file with an overly long filename is opened.
The vulnerability is related to:
SA19945
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code but
requires that the user is e.g. tricked into opening a malicious ZIP
archive from within the "Restore Zip Archive" functionality.
