Description: A vulnerability was reported in F-Secure Anti-Virus. A user can bypass the anti-virus scanning mechanism.
A user can use a specially crafted filename for an executable program so that the program will not be scanned by the anti-virus software
but the file will still be executable.
Also, the anti-virus software does not scan files on removable media.

Impact: A user can bypass the anti-virus scanning mechanism.
|
Solution: The vendor has issued a fix, distributed automatically to the client versions and available as a hotfix for server versions.
