Description: A vulnerability was reported in PrivateWire in the online registration function. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to the Online Registration Facility to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary
code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.
A demonstration exploit request is provided:

The vendor was notified on December 19, 2005.
Michael Thumann discovered this vulnerability.

1. Summary:
The Online Registration Facility of Algorithmic Research PrivateWire VPN Software
doesn't do proper bounds checking handling normal GET requests.
Sending an overlong page or script name, it causes a buffer overflow and an attacker
can control the EIP to run arbitrary code on the victims machine.
