Description:  A vulnerability was reported in Woltlab Burning Board. A remote user can inject SQL commands.

The 'showmods.php' and 'newthread.php' scripts not properly validate user-supplied input in the 'boardid' parameter. The 'report.php' script does not properly validate user-supplied input in the 'postid' parameter. A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database.

A demonstration exploit URL is of the following form:

/showmods.php?boardid=[SQL]

/report.php?postid=[S QL]

/newthread.php?boardid=[SQL]

Impact:  A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.
Solution:  No solution was available at the time of this entry.
