Description: A vulnerability was reported in Artswrapper. A local user can obtain root privileges.
The artswrapper daemon does not properly process setuid() function call failures. As a result, a local user may be able to launch artsd with root privileges, allowing the local user to obtain root privileges.

Solution: KDE has issued the following fixes:
