Description: A vulnerability was reported in ELOG. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send a request containing the string 'global' to trigger a NULL pointer dereference in parsing the configuration
file and cause the target service to crash.
If the application is configured with password protection, the remote user must be
authenticated to trigger this flaw.
A demonstration exploit URL is provided:

The vulnerability
resides in the show_elog_list() function in 'elogd.c'.
The vendor was notified on November 8, 2006.
