Description:  A vulnerability was reported in synaesthesia. A local user can read arbitrary files on the target system.

The software performs certain file operations in 'main.cc' and 'sound.cc' with elevated privileges. A local user can exploit this to view the contents of arbitrary files.

Erik Sjolund and Devin Carraway discovered this flaw.

Impact:  A local user can read arbitrary files on the target system.
