Description:  A vulnerability was reported in MailCarrier. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Jerome Athias reported that there is an exploit written by muts from whitehat.co.il that triggers a buffer overflow in the SMTP service. The flaw resides in the processing of EHLO SMTP commands.

Impact:  A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system with the privileges of the SMTP service.
